Splint without bunionectomy?
by: Anonymous

I've noticed in looking at ads for the Rolyan and maybe also the Wheaton bunion splint that they say they are for use after bunionectomy. Did you use them without the surgery and get good results or did you have the surgery? Thanks for help

My reply:
Yes, I use bunion splints, though I've never had surgery. Splints help in keeping your big toes in a straight position, but, in my experience, only as long as you're wearing them. They help me to relax my feet. My favorite 'bunion splints' are yoga toes.
