 Big toe fusion

Glad to read your surgery was successful. I was told yesterday I needed surgery on both feet.
The orth. surgeon wants to fuse the big toe one
foot at a time and insert pins. I am very depressed and worried about the procedure. I have not decided yet what I will do. Was your
procedure anything like this? I would welcome
hearing other peoples experiences. I am a 54
year old very active female and am afraid this operation will limit my activities.
