Hallex24 Bunion Splints - my experience

Footsmart says the Hallex bunion splint fits inside roomy shoes. When I'm wearing mine, I can't even get my foot into my large rubber boots or crocs or flip-flops. I think I'd need to go for shoes at least 2 sizes too large & extra wide. So, for me, these splints are only good for nightime/in-house wear.
