Amazing, I'm not the only one.
I was born with bunions. My mom has them (not as severe) and so does my grandmother on my mom's side. All my life I've always worn socks and was self conscious about them whenever I was barefoot or wore sandals. Since I feel that my bunions are severe, I've never worn heels or pointy toed shoes. I have been considering surgery but the thought of it just scares me. I just wear these orthotic inserts that I got from my doctor and try to wear wider shoes or flip flops. Of course, I wish I had perfect feet and envy my sisters and all my friends who are always wearing high heels with pretty dresses. I think I'm content with my feet and will consider surgery when my bunions are too much to bear.
